This morning Rivet was immediately touching the lid if it was presented near her and able to touch it promptly if it was held out to either side or near floor level. It made me think to add another article but I had nothing else appropriate handy so I grabbed my ball cap. She was willing to touch it promptly and repeatedly when it was presented near her face. It was as if she knew that what the item I held out was isn't particularly relevant.
Today I shall find a handful of other objects to add to the mix.
